This area covers most of the luxury gated communities in the hills North of the City of Beverly Hills. They include: The Summit, famous for having had residents such as Britney Spears, Hilary Duff, and Ed McMahon, Mulholland Estates, Beverly Ridge Estates, and Beverly Park, one of the most expensive gated communities in the U.S.

Privacy at its most enthusiastic. In 1990 developers originally conceived Beverly Park to be a private golf course, named after Dean Martin. The intention was to distinguish it as it own community separate from nearby neighbors of Holmby Hills, Bel-Air, and Beverly Hills. Instead of a golf course, a master-plan took shape comprised of North and South gated communities designed specifically for the world's wealthiest people who wanted to build significant estates on large-scale real estate lots. Current and past residents include: Rod Stewart, Kelsey Grammer, Barry Bonds, Eddie Murphy, Magic Johnson, Sylvester Stallone, Reba McIntyre, Denzel Washington, Faith Hill, Samuel L. Jackson, Tim McGraw, Mark Wahlberg, and many others.
